Odisha is poised to host the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in its capital, Bhubaneswar, from January 8th to 10th next year. This event honors the contributions of the Indian diaspora and will be held at Janata Maidan. The proposal submitted by the Union Ministry of External Affairs has received approval from Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, designating Bhubaneswar as the location for this esteemed international gathering.

I am happy that the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is being organized by my native state of Odisha at Bhubaneswar, from January 8th to 10th 2025. I thank the Ministry of External Affairs and Govt of Odisha. I have been looking forward to this occasion to join the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas from Sweden.
